Empowerment Resources, Inc. continues to serve the community for its 20th year

Empowerment Resources Inc. (ERI), a private 501c3 nonprofit organization devoted to serving youth and families in Jacksonville, Florida announces its Board of Directors and Advisory Council. ERI will continue to offer its signature Life Skills Workshops, Parenting Education Seminars, and Journey into Womanhood program.

The returning and new volunteers who are serving with ERI are distinguished leaders who embody advocacy, empowerment and community. “I have such gratitude for the diversity of our board and advisory members with their expansive expertise and talent. As we enter our 20th year, strategic visioning for our next 20 years is critical,” shares Elexia Coleman-Moss, Founding and Executive Director of Empowerment Resources, Inc.

Board of Directors

Iana Benjamin is an attorney and litigator with extensive experience in family law, immigration law, estate planning and contracts.

Penelope Knox currently works for the Department of Justice, and is experienced in criminal investigations, law enforcement functions, writing policy & procedures, public affairs, and recruiting.

Ian Nyquist is a marketing director for an aesthetics technology company headquartered in Jacksonville Beach. He is experienced in strategic communications for non-profits and is passionate about helping to make Jacksonville a better environment for young people

Chad Smith currently works as an Advisory Software Engineer at a national computer and tech company. He is experienced in technical leadership, project management and IT cloud architecture.
